Volunteer Matching and Information System
The Volunteer Matching and Information System helps to match
people with volunteer positions.

Volunteer Dinner and Training
The volunteer dinner and training is Wednesday, March 19th at
Cox Convention Center.
- 5:30 check in
- 6:00 dinner,
- 6:30 meeting.
Please contact Harold
Holley by 4:00 pm on Friday March 14 if you have not sent your
RSVP.
Please check in at the volunteer desk each day when you arrive at
the Cox Convention
Center.
In addition to the volunteer dinner on Wednesday evening, a
breakfast (7:00 am) and lunch is provided each day in the volunteer
headquarters room.
Appropriate Dress
- Jeans are acceptable.
- You will be given a volunteer t-shirt. Judges and safety
advisors have specific shirts.
- Referees will be borrowing striped shirts provided by FIRST
– please consider wearing a plain t-shirt under the ref shirt.
- NO flip flops, crocs, clogs are allowed in the pits – closed
toe shoes only!
Food and Drink
No food or drinks in the pit area. Not to worry we will feed the
volunteers well!
Volunteer Parking
Volunteer Parking is underneath the Cox Convention Center. Your
first parking pass will be mailed to you. Your additional parking
passes will be in your packet along with your name badge and
schedule. If you don’t have the pass it will cost $6.00.
Volunteer Position
You should of received an email with your position. If not,
contact Harold Holley.
Find your name and then Position, and that will let you know what
assignment(s) you have been given. Most positions are a Thursday,
Friday Saturday (Field set-up is Wednesday as well as a few other
positions). Please confirm your days of availability when you RSVP.
Required Forms
All volunteers will need to fill out the volunteer release form –
and yes – even if you’ve filled one out already – you need one –
they are event specific. Certain positions require you to fill out
the conflict of interest form (Field Supervisors, Judges, Robot
Inspectors, Referees, and Safety Advisors. A volunteer who has a
relationship with a team is not excluded from serving in these
positions, but he/she must disclose any relationship he/she has with
a competing team and agree not to bias any match process and/or
results). Please complete these forms before arival.
